Our book suggestions for this month both happen to tackle the theme of trauma, so consider using this playlist as a way to hold space for this topic in your life, or to recenter and ground after reflection.

A few weeks ago, Kenna attended a training on trauma where several books were recommended. We researched the recommended reading list and are especially interested in the New York Times Bestseller My Grandmother’s Hands, by Resmaa Menakem, Minneapolis based LICSW and Somatic Abolitionism teacher. We wanted to pass along this title to you as well, in case you’re looking for a book about the pathway to healing from racialized trauma.
