September is giving us soft cowboy vibes; the sense we’re getting is that it’s time to hit the dusty road and return to a land of tender, emotional introspection after a wild summer.

The Hermit encourages us to make space for solitude and introspection. The Hermit reminds us that we have rich inner landscapes worthy of exploration. For some (especially in Minnesota!) summer can be a time of (re)connection with the external world, after which we may find ourselves seeking balance and turning inward as the weather gets colder.

For September, here’s what she suggests;

“Go outside and focus on the clouds, trees, or breeze. Close your eyes and lift yourself out of your own feet. Let your thoughts wander on their own for a while. How do you feel? Write about it.”
