Hello!

about kenna

Hi, I’m Kenna! I am is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Minnesota. I completed my undergraduate degree in social work at Salisbury University and earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work.

I enjoy working with clients to explore creativity, discover meaning, enhance intuition, and process anxiety, loss, and difficult life transitions. I use art therapy techniques and mindfulness in sessions, and enjoy incorporating metaphor, symbol, and ritual to assist clients in enhancing self awareness, accessing peace, and constructing rewarding self care practices.

One of the guiding principles in my work with clients is my belief that the client is the expert on their own life. This leads me to foster therapeutic relationships that are grounded in respect, authenticity, collaboration, and strengths-based approaches.
